As the sun set I started seeing alligators swimming in the calm waters as the gators began to hunt. It was common to see a flight of pelicans skimming across the water. Their wings literally just a fraction of an inch above the water. The sunsets in the Everglades are considered to be some of the most beautiful in the world.
