Walley, named by Doug, comes to visit at Harney River Chickee.

We reached Harney River Chickee before the rain came. As we started unloading for the night, a lone pelican came to inspect our work. Doug wanted a good picture of a pelican - instead, he came close to gaining a trip mascot. Walley, as Doug named the friendly pelican, hung around for about a half hour before moving on. If we had fed the pelican he would most likely have become a pest.
