Doug at the Harney River Chickee. This Chickee was very close to land and we were just slightly worried that raccoons might be able to get on the Chickee from the near by mangroves. That didn't prove to be the case. Doug's ground cloth was used to provide a safe place to cook and work. The space between the floor boards of the Chickee are widely spaced. Without the ground cloth, it would be possible for glasses, pocket knives, lighters, and utensils to easily fall between the planks.
