Lostman Five Campsite

Lostman Five Campsite

Our second night was spent at Lostman Five campsite. Our concern for raccoons caused us to protect our water and food. We carried 30 gallons of water in 2 1/2 gallon plastic containers, to ensure we each had at least a gallon available per day. The tents were a blessed relief and ensured we had a mosquito-free night. We all enjoyed a good nights sleep. The ground at Lostman Five is perpetually wet. Every time we moved a foot a puddle of water remained in the footprint. Thus, a good waterproof ground cloth is essential.
